University Law Clinics University law clinics provide law students
with real-life work experience, develop local legal capacity, and help
protect human rights around the world. Students working in
university law clinic—supervised by a law professor or practicing
lawyer—provide legal assistance to poor and marginalized clients while
gaining exposure to the problems faced by these groups. The
clinical experience offers an invaluable opportunity to use what they
have learned in the classroom to empower those whose rights have been
violated and who would not otherwise have access to legal
