•    Exchanging experiences and network-building among promoters of qualitative public defense services and institutions;
•    Addressing common issues related to organization and management of public defenders;

•    Exploring strategies for establishing and promoting quality standards in legal practice;
•    Addressing the role of pilot Public Defender Offices in promoting and advancing legal aid reforms;
•    Empowering the participants to take active role in legal aid reforms in their countries;
•    Capacity-building of the participants to share with other colleagues the skills and knowledge acquired during the training.
